Privacy Policy

The short version: I collect as little as I can and sell none of it. Here’s the longer version, which is still short.

The newsletter

Signup runs through Substack. When you subscribe, your email address is collected and stored by Substack, which sends the newsletter and acts as the processor for the subscriber list; how they handle it is covered by Substack’s privacy policy. I use that list for exactly one thing: sending you the newsletter. I won’t sell it, rent it, or hand it to anyone else.

This site

The site uses Google Analytics to see what gets read, which sets cookies and shares basic usage data (pages viewed, rough location) with Google. It also sits behind Cloudflare, which screens traffic for security and speeds things up. Beyond that: no ads, no comments, no accounts, and nothing sold to anyone. The signup form on the Subscribe page and under each post is embedded from Substack, so their terms cover that part.

If you reply to a newsletter email, it reaches me through Substack and I read it. What you tell me stays between us.

If any of this changes, I’ll update this page - there’s no fine print waiting to surprise you.
